On our podcast feed you will find two types of show. Firstly is what we like to call the JamCast. This is our main show where the team get together to chat about news, views and opinions on the latest news from the gaming world as well as reviews on some of the newest titles around. The team also chat about some of the games that each of them have been playing.
The second type of podcast you will find on our feed is what we like to call the JamChunk. This is our more focused show. We pick a single topic and discuss the finer details involved. In the past we have discussed everything from particular consoles and their advantages and disadvantages, special events, deeper looks into the finer points of individual games as well as more random and unusual topics. Anything game related is fair game (pardon the pun). If you have a topic for discussion then please feel free to contact us and let us know.
During both shows you can expect many a tangent and digression as well as fun and games and many a laugh. The team of Graham, Connor, Troy, Darren and Gareth are the main hosts and are joined by guests on occasions ranging from other team members, other podcasters from around the world and special guests which have included Stewart Gilray from Oddworld and Gravity Crash developers, Just Add Water as well as Snake himself, David Hayter, one of the most famous characters and voices in video gaming history.

Welcome back to another episode of the JoypadAndMe podcast. The show that brings you gaming news and opinions in it’s own special way. Each of them discuss some of the gaming highs and lows as well as some of the games that they think should be recognized for a few different reasons. Which game did our team think made the top of the multiplayer gaming pile? Connor certainly testing one of them by putting in a frankly insane amount of hours! Our team also discuss which indie titles made them take notice the most as well as what news stories and events hit the top spots and the low points. The team round up the year that was 2016 so that they can move on to the gaming goodness that 2017 is sure to bring especially in the next couple of months!
JoypadAndMe Podcast Episode: 95 – Looking Back Before Moving Forward
Hello and welcome back from the team here at http://www.JoypadAndMe.com. so 2017 is now in full swing and so are we, bringing you new articles, news, views and reviews on both the website and the podcast. As the title suggests, the podcast is here and starting the year off with a bang. In this episode we have our usual hosts Graham, Conner and Gareth with their usual unique brand of comedy and tangents. In the first section our team discuss what they have been playing and its quite an eclectic set. Gareth talks about his time with Pokemon Sun and some final thoughts on Final Fantasy XV since his review last episode. Afterwards, Graham goes on to talk about his collection of games including The Division, Sky Force Anniversary and then onto some retro titles he has been playing with his son on the PlayStation 2, namely Curious George and Disney’s Cars. Connor then finishes up with his thoughts on Hitman, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted 4’s Survivor mode and the onto Rise Of The Tomb Raider before talking about his wallet emptying shopping spree on the PSN sales. In the second section of the show we discuss some of the latest news and opinons from the previous few weeks. The team chat about Nintendo and their released details for their upcoming console, The Nintendo Switch. The team also discuss the sad news involving Guerilla Cambridge as well as Microsoft and Platinum Games parting ways with the XBox One exclusive ScaleBound being the latest gaming casualty. After that Graham drools over the Razer concept laptop called project Valerie. With all that we discuss a few changes to the website we have planned and some ideas we will be following up over the next few months and a sneek preview of what our next episode will involve.
JoypadAndMe Podcast Episode 94: Starting The Year Off With A Bang
Welcome back to the JoypadAndMe podcast. We are back once again to bring you our own take on the world of video gaming. In this episode we have our hosts Graham and Gareth reviewing a selection of the games they have been playing. Gareth discusses his views on Skyrim HD on PS4 and Final Fantasy 15 and the Graham goes on to review Ubisoft’s latest title, Steep and then a look at the Batman game from TellTale. After that its on to the news section. It wouldn’t be a JoypadAndMe podcast without one of our team having some kind of rant and this episode is no exception. In the final few minutes we give a few shout outs to a few friends and podcasts as well as some Christmas and holiday festive messages. JoypadAndMe Podcast Episode 93: A Festive Gaming Frenzy
Welcome back to another episode of the JoypadAndMe podcast. After our team had to take some personal time they are back in full swing with a full length episode of our normal podcast. It seems however that some people have been holding back their potty mouth and kept it all for this episode. Graham, Connor and Gareth go through all the usual sections for you all to enjoy. To begin with we have a look back at all the games that our guys have been playing which has been quite a few and to say varied would be an understatement. With Connor discussing his recent upgrade of his hard drive in his PS4 along with his boost in broadband capabilities he moves on to Hitman, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Puppeteer, Ratchet & Clank, République before Gareth and he discuss their time with Overwatch. Gaz then talks about Mafia 3, Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 before Graham goes all over the place with games such as XCOM 2, Assassins Creed Ezio Collection, Adventure Capitalist, The Division, Assetto Corsa, PSVR ocean desent., Pure Pool, DuckTails Remastered and DriveClub Bikes. After that epic portion of the show we decide to skip the reviews section and instead hold those back till our next episode which will be a reviewsapaloosa show. So with that it is on to the news and we discuss the recent findings in Ubisoft’s latest title, WatchDogs 2 and some hidden secrets or not so secret after photos were taken and Ubisoft’s responce. We discuss how the Ezio Collection may have been misrepresented by a certain website and then on to games breaking street date, news about upcoming games and much much more. We also discuss our 24 hour gaming marathon which we held back at the beginning of November and what we managed to raise.

Welcome back to another podcast episode from the team at JoypadAndMe. Our team of Graham, Connor and Gareth otherwise known as Jedi Junkie, VDJomb and DaftChunk are back to bring you their own take on the gaming world from the past couple of weeks. This time round our team chat about the games they have been playing including Need For Speed, The latest addition to Don’t Starve, called Shipwrecked, Severed, Gone Home, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy and Overwatch. Graham then goes into a rant that may include some swearing (ok maybe its more like a lot of swearing) directed at Sony and Driveclub. After the ranting has died down, Graham and Gareth discuss their opinions on the latest big release in the gaming world, No Man’s Sky. What they like, dislike and what they have been doing as well as their opinions on the price and their review scores. See which one of them you agree with. After all that we have a review of Abzu from Connor and then onto the news where the team discuss a few of the most recent gaming inspired stories as well as giving their own opinions on a couple of subjects.

Overdosed on energy drinks, a few beers and staring at video games for hours on end has led to possibly one of the strangest shows we have ever published. Welcome back for another episode of the JoypadAndMe podcast. This episode is a little different from the norm. For this episode was recorded at 5am during the Extra Life gaming marathon. Graham is joined by friend and fan of the show Bill Morgan to chat about what they are doing and why on earth they are awake at 5am in the morning playing video games. They also go into the age-old discussion of PlayStation vs Xbox and in particular the latest consoles. With that and more this is a unique sleep deprived show full of amusement. Troy has always been a passionate advocate for the Extra Life event and for far more than an excuse to play video games all day and night.
