JoypadAndMe wants to wish Nintendo’s GameBoy Advance a happy 14th birthday. Way back in 2001 Nintendo released the next iteration of the world-beating mobile gaming device, The GameBoy Advance. Taking over from the original GameBoy and the GameBoy color, the Advance looked significantly different with a more ergonomic design that is still somewhat copied even today. A 32 bit pocket-sized gaming device is great in itself but for it to truly succeed it needed a full line up of amazing titles and the GameBoy Advance did not disappoint in that department. With games such as the dominating Pokémon series to Super Mario and the classic Nintendo futuristic racer, F Zero. The Gameboy Advance was a success that other companies could only dream of, selling 81.5 million devices means that it has firmly cemented itself in the mobile gaming legend.
