On Saturday 10th August 2013 I went and sat in cornered off section of Hull’s Game Superstore in Prospect Centre, excluding the minors of gaming as this was for two eagerly anticipated Cross-Generational adult releases from Ubisoft.

One game is a continuation of one of my favourite franchises, that has established itself on the current gaming platforms, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. With the lead protagonist as a swash buckling pirate, come reluctant member of the Assassin’s Guild.
The other is a brand new franchise that was first revealed at E3 in 2012, set in a near future, electronic metropolis, with the unique feature of putting you in the role of vigilante hacker. He has the intriguing ability of being able to take other a plethora of modern technology from getting some free cash from cash machines to controlling Traffic lights or CCTV cameras. Watch_Dogs is easily one of the games I’m most excited about for the launch of the next generation.
