In the 4th GT5 gamernight we will be running a mix of races designed to have you all digging through your garages and bringing out cars that might not get used as much as they should. Here is a chance to show off your driving skills in a variety of ways and in a variety of different machines. A collection of races both old and new. This gamernight should have a bit of something for everybody. Test your abilities in everything from little go karts to the might of the GT500 pure bred racing machines and everything in between.

Main Event – Real Racers Do It Harder!
The main event will see drivers pulling their hair out with panic and stress as we bring back the realism of dangerous racing back to Gran Turismo. In a race filled with pit falls even before the starting light flickers, every driver must pick his or her car very carefully as they will need to balence power and performance with stability and control. Carefull planning will be needed for every corner and every overtaking manouver. This will test each driver to the limit. A suitable prize awaits the winner. Restrictions – Any production car (performance points limited to 550pp). 10 laps on a track never before raced, Damage on, Fuel on, Tyre wear on, Pit stops on, Weather on.
Euro 2012 Footballers Fight.
With the European football competition getting under way we thought a little friendly competition from the competing nations could also happen on the track. This event will be a 3 race event. One Spanish track, one Italian track and one French track. The results from all three races will be added together to find the Euro GT Champion. Each driver can pick any car from a competing country (performance points limited to 450pp) Prize for the driver with the most unique car on the track. You are allowed to change car for each track. Prize will be given to the overall winner.
Snake Pit.
In the animal kingdom few creatures instill more fear and danger than one of the oldest predators around. The snake has always been a creature that some fear and others respect. These same feelings transfer over to the race track as the Dodge Viper goes fang to fang with the AC Cobra. Both are vicious when it comes to raw power and both act like their namesake, hard to handle and one false moves means you will pay the price! Which predator of the track will be crowned King of the snake pit?
British Brilliance
The height of british style and elegance. One of them was described by old man Ferrari himself as the most beautiful car made. The other a true blend of style and performance. The Jaguar E type battles against the Jensen Intercepter III. Both cars from a time where lurid paintwork and uneeded rear wings weren’t even considered. These two are so posh even BRB UK’s resident high class gent, Dan would have to bow down to them.
Caterham Crazyness
Go Karts are for kids. If you want real lightweight racing with an extra kick then your only choice is the Caterham 7. The perfect track car. Small, Lightweight, powerful and best of all, handles like a dream. A grid full of these ludicrously lightweight machines can only mean one thing, very close action.
Rampaging Rally Racers
With so many track races we thought it would be fun to change things up a little and use a few cars that dont see action from the garage quite as often as they probably should. The Rally cars. Highly tuned performance vehicles designed to handle to road surfaces that other vehicles fear to go. We will hold two events on very different terrain for all you rally lovers out there.
Dusty Trails - Any rally car, race or production (performance points limited to 500pp). Loose dusty surface.
Winter Wonderland - Any rally car, race or production (performance points limited to 500pp). Snow covered surface.
GT500 Blitz
In a break from gamernight tradition, its time to dig out those GT race cars for full on action. Any GT500 rated car (performance points limited to 600pp). Pick your favorite and line up on the grid for some blistering action. One small mistake might cost you the win as with these cars, there is no room for error.
Go Karting Classic
Little engines but big fun. The 2 stroke whine of the motors revving on the start line and the apprehension of the drivers as they prepare for the insane action that only go-karting can produce. This was a race we ran last gamernight on the recommendation of a participant and as it was such a success we have decided to make it a regular part of the action. Tune those engines and prepare for battling for every little piece of track.
Big Bad Bumper Cars Extravaganza
All out war is the order of the day. In the words of Conner McCloud in the film Highlander, ‘There can be only one’. One winner that is. In this race there are no rules, it’s the first past the finish line in a huge battle of metal and tyres as you crash, bash, and sideswipe your way through the ranks. 10 laps of the Daytona raceway will decide who is the most violent and aggressive driver. Bring your roughest, vehicle and let battle commence. (Performance point limit = 650pp)

Basic rules will apply ie, no race cars or unique cars, production models only unless otherwise stipulated. Some races will be BHP or PP restricted so check the description of the events. Prize cars will be given out for various race wins as well as other more unique reasons
Come along and take part, there are races for all competitors so if you consider yourself a world class racer or you cant find second gear still come along and have fun.
